Reducing our carbon footprint

fsc logoPhoto of the SuperNova version 12 packaging.With the release of SuperNova version 12 in 2010, we wanted to improve the environmental impact of our product packaging. We stopped using the plastic DVD cases and printing large paper manuals in favour of an all-in-one biodegradable package made using paper from responsible sources (approved by the FSC - Forest Stewardship Council). Customers can download manuals in a variety of formats from the website. This lighter pack means less weight for shipping thus reducing our overall air miles. We also moved to shipping our software on DVDs which have a much larger capacity than CDs which means we need to print and send out less discs overall.
