Middlesex Association for the Blind

Middlesex Association for the Blind logoMiddlesex Association for the Blind operates in nine London boroughs where eight IT training centres and four resource centres are located. Clients, users and people coming for assessments can drop in and try out a range of assistive aids. Helen Dashwood explains;

We have been working with Dolphin for years, and we've always had a stock of trial CDs for customers to take home and experiencing for themselves."
We are careful not to push people towards our own preferred Access Technology, we just let people use the tools and make up their own minds what works for them"

Since becoming one of 'Dolphin's Friends', Middlesex Association for the Blind have continued the good work of their excellent resource centres, but now raise extra cash thanks to the free software they receive from Dolphin.
Nothing much has changed for us, we still get the same excellent service from Dolphin, but now we are receiving extra cash that's helping us open new resource centres and reach more visually impaired people"
