Microsoft Office 2010 is available in two media types:

PKC: When buying a brand new computer/ laptop it will often come with a trial of Microsoft Office already installed. In this situation you can buy a PKC (an unlock code) which turns your trial into a full version that will never expire. You will only be supplied with an unlock code, no discs will be shipped to you. PKC purchases include 1 license only and are non-transferable, meaning you cannot use the license on another PC.

Traditional Disc Packs: Software shipped to you on discs. Home & Student Editions license
up to 3 devices in the same household, all other editions include 1 license for up to 2 devices used
by the same user. Your license is transferable to another PC.
