How to resolve the incorrect announcement of the backslash character by the Acapela TTS

Description:
When using an Acapela SAPI 5 TTS voice the backslash character (“\”) is announced incorrectly.
Solution/workaround:
The solution is to add the following rule in the dictionary:
"\"="\\"
This solves all cases but one and that is when the backslash character is followed by space, i.e. "... the folder C:\program files\ contains". For this particular problem there is no solution.
