Workaround for Outlook 2010 performance issue with SuperNova v11.5x

Applies to:

  • MS Office Outlook 2010
  • SuperNova Access Suite
  • SuperNova Magnifier

  • Dolphin Pen

Description:

When using Outlook 2010 with SuperNova, Hal, Lunar or LunarPlus version 11.56/57 and arrowing up or down through a list of emails, responsiveness of the tracking and speech may not be as fast as desired.

Solution/workaround:

This workaround should improve responsiveness when using Outlook 2010 with SuperNova, Hal, Lunar or LunarPlus version 11.56 or 57.

To turn off the Navigation Pane in Outlook 2010. To do this whilst running Outlook 2010:

  1. Press Alt + V to go to the "View" ribbon.
  2. Arrow right until you reach the option for "Navigation Pane", press Enter and arrow down to the "Off" option - press Enter to select this.

Then, if you need to go to a specific folder, press Left Ctrl + Y and select the folder from the list.
