SuperNova announces 0 range vertical scroll bar when composing mail in Outlook Express. How do I stop this?

Applies to:

  • SuperNova Access Suite
  • SuperNova Magnifier
  • SuperNova Reader Magnifier
  • SuperNova Screen Reader

Description:

In some circumstances when you compose an email in Outlook Express 6, speech may continuely announce “0 range vertical scroll bar” as you move through the message.

Solution/workaround:

You can resolve this problem in a number of ways:

·         The problem has only been identified using the Windows Classic Display Theme. Therefore, you can resolve the problem by changing to the Windows XP Display Theme.

·         The problem can be resolved by changing to a Minimum Verbosity Scheme. You may wish to make use of Application and Situation Settings to restrict the applying of the Minimum Verbosity Scheme to the composing message window. See the SuperNova Manual for instruction on doing this task.

·         If the above options do not resolve the problem then please contact Dolphin Product Support and request the alternative Outlook Express Map.
