It is not possible to change the magnification size at the Windows logon screen using the F7 and F8 keys.
Applies to:
- SuperNova Access Suite
- SuperNova Magnifier
- SuperNova Reader Magnifier
Description:
When you press F7 or F8 at the Windows logon screen, the magnification remains at the same size. Clicking on the “Increase” and “Decrease” magnification buttons with the mouse adjusts the size correctly.
Solution/workaround:
This is a known issue and is fixed in Supernova 12.03. Existing version 12.02 customers can update to 12.03 free of charge.
To do this:
1. Press LEFT CONTROL + SPACEBAR. The Supernova Control Panel opens.
2. Press ALT + H. The "Help" menu opens
3. Use the UP and DOWN ARROW keys to select "Check for Updates" and press ENTER.
4. Follow the onscreen prompts to download the Supernova updates that are available.
