Description:
After starting Supernova Screen Reader 12.02 on a Windows computer, some areas of the screen, or the entire screen, may appear to go black.
Solution/workaround:
There is a known issue with the Supernova Highlighting options on certain Windows XP computers running version 12.02 of Supernova Screen Reader. This issue will be fixed in a future update. If you are still experiencing the issue, you need to turn off the Highlighting options within Supernova Screen Reader.
To do this:
1. Press LEFT CONTROL + SPACEBAR. The Supernova Control Panel opens.
2. Press ALT + V. The "visual" menu opens. The focus is on the first menu items called "Highlighting On".
3. Press ENTER. This turns Highlighting off and closes the menu.
