KNOWN ISSUE: SuperNova 13.01 does not announce “Spell Error” after typing a misspelled word and pressing SPACEBAR.
Applies to:
- SuperNova Access Suite
- SuperNova Reader Magnifier
Description:
With “Spell Error” selected in the “Text Style Announcements” dialog box of SuperNova, the expected behaviour is that “Spell Error” will be announced after pressing SPACEBAR once the work has been typed. In SuperNova 13.01, this does not occur.
Solution/workaround:
This issue is expected to be fixed in the forthcoming 13.02 update patch. Please contact Dolphin to enquire as to the release date of this update, or choose “Check for Updates” found in the “Help” menu of the SuperNova Control Panel.
There are two workarounds for this issue:
- Change “Character Echo” to “Characters” instead of “Words”
- Use one of SuperNova’s “Speak Keys” such as “Speak Word” or “Speak Line” to announce the spell error.
