Catch up with Dolphin at BETT 2011 & register for free 'Make it Accessible' training

The Dolphin Computer Access team is heading to Olympia in London this week to exhibit at the world's leading educational ICT exhibition, BETT 2011.

The Dolphin team will be sharing their expertise in the creation of alternative formats, accessible eBooks, screen magnification, screen reading and more on stand SN5 within the Special Needs Zone of BETT 2011, 12th to 15th January 2011.

Dolphin launch Free 'Make it Accessible' training courses

For people with visual impairments and dyslexia, reading and learning materials in standard printed formats are inaccessible. 'Make it Accessible' is all about making these textbook chapters, worksheets and class handouts accessible, and ensuring that people with low vision, blindness and specific learning disabilities have the same access to information as everybody else.

The FREE 'Make it Accessible' courses introduce some key universal rules for making reading and learning materials accessible. Register today for your FREE accessibility training, visit www.YourDolphin.com/MakeItAccessible or call 01905 754 577.

Alternative ways of supporting print impaired students

"The production of alternative formats for those with print impairments is core to many students succeeding, and content is becoming more accessible. This presentation aims to highlight issues that still need addressing and to illustrate how some students have successfully coped with the increase in technology enhanced learning."

The Special Needs Fringe is situated next door to the main BETT exhibition in the Olympia Hilton.
