New dyslexia research - Training now available
A recent DfE pilot that trialled accessible resources with dyslexic students reports exciting results. For hands-on training on how to create and deliver accessible resources, sign up for the free "Make it Accessible" course.
The Accessible Resources Pilot project, led by Dolphin Computer Access, tested a model for providing curriculum materials in accessible electronic file formats for students with dyslexia.
As a direct result of the project, teachers have reported that:
- 56% of pupils improved with their reading*
- 70% of pupils improved with their writing*
- 71% improved with their level of achievement*
- 68% improved with their confidence*
J and L are two of our most severe Dyslexic students. Both are statemented and find it really hard to access material. J just said 'I can read this' and it was wonderful." SENCO involved in the Accessible Resources Pilot Project.

5 minute SENCO input required for new dyslexia research
Dolphin Computer Access is undertaking a series of research projects to investigate the use of alternative formats for dyslexic students in education.
Dolphin are looking for education professionals to complete a short survey which should take less than 5 minutes and were hoping that you might be able to assist!
