Crowne Plaza Hotel in Reading on the banks of the river Thames.Over 25% of children in the UK education system have some kind of learning difficulties, whether that is a visual impairment, dyslexia or additional literacy needs.  100 people a day start to loose their sight and 2 million of us already think we have some sight problems.

Finding a solution to the difficulties and barriers that are encountered as a result of dyslexia and visual impairments is the focus and objective of the new “Special Needs Reading Exhibition” that Dolphin Computer Access are hosting and sponsoring.   Conveniently located in the heart of Reading “Special Needs Reading” is designed for students, parents, teachers, employers and professionals who are looking to improve their independence, productivity and get expert advice from a range of disability specialists.

Dolphin Computer Access will be showcasing their range of computer access, education and alternative format solutions and will be joined by specialist companies and charities from their fields including the British Dyslexic Association, Royal National College for the Blind, Abilitynet, SEN Magazine, National Talking Newspaper & Magazine, Reading Talking News, Optelec, ForceTen, Hagger, VisualEyes, Professional Vision Services and the Queen Alexandra College.

The exhibition will be held on Monday 16th October 2006 at the Crowne Plaza Reading, which is located on the banks of the River Thames, adjacent to the Caversham Bridgeon Richfield Avenue and is just a short distance from Reading station.  Admission and car parking is free and everyone is welcome.  The exhibition is open to everyone between 10.00am and 4.00pm.
