Choose the Smartphone to Suit You

The Smart Hal compatibility list boasts a vast array of Windows Mobile 5 handsets from HTC Str Trk to the Virgin Lobster, and the list looks set to grow, with new Mobile 6 models due to hit the market next month. Users need simply choose the Smartphone handset that suits their lifestyle (and their image) then download a free 30-day trial of Smart Hal from the Dolphin website. Conveniently, this trial version can quickly and easily upgrade into a full copy with the purchase of a Smart Hal "unlock code".

Eloquence Excellence as Standard

Smart Hal comes with a choice of your favourite UK Eloquence, Orpheus or US Eloquence synthesisers as standard, and existing Windows computer users will appreciate the familiar experience that comes with a Windows operating system.

Sue Allard, an existing Windows XP and screen reader user, explains,
"It appears that Smart Hal has been designed by someone that knows what visually impaired people want, rather than by someone sighted. The Smartphone is so easy to use because you are straight in and you understand what you are dealing with. I was up and running very quickly."

No Cross Grade Charges

Competitively priced at £175/$295, every Smart Hal licence comes with 2 installations or lives that are automatically renewed 6 months after their activation. Smart Hal users that upgrade, replace or even lose their handset need not pay a cross grade fee to transfer their Smart Hal onto their new handset.

Jonathan Tyrer, a visually impaired Access Technology Specialist from Liverpool, said:
"Smart Hal is reliable and extremely intuitive. After only three minutes' training in a busy restaurant, I am up and running and have excellent access to all of the exciting Smartphones features and handsets available in the market, including my new Lobster! Plus Smart Hal gives me access to all of the benefits that come with synchronising your Smartphone contacts, calendar and tasks with my PC, without the normal Bluetooth and dongle hassles. Smart Hal is as good as the leading solution in the market for Symbian phones!"
