Always keen to ensure our customers are ahead of the game, Dolphin are delighted to announce the release of the FREE 8.03 update available exclusively for Supernova, Hal, Lunar and LunarPlus Version 8 customers.

New and included in version 8.03 are host of small improvements and fixes designed to improve your total version 8 experience. Plus we're hot on the heels of Microsoft and version 8.03 will support their soon to be released Vista Service Pack 1.

Read on to find out what's new in version 8.03 for you:

• After many months beta testing Vista Service Pack 1 for Microsoft, version 8.03 will provide the additional support that Microsoft's newest release will require.
• Dolphin users such as assessors, teachers and advisor's that require multiple access technology applications on the same PC should also update their licences to version 8.03. Dolphin have been working closely with Ai Squared and now Supernova, Hal, Lunar and LunarPlus are all able to be available from the same PC as their Zoomtext software. Excellent news for anyone looking to ensure their client chooses the best software for their specific visual needs.
• Plus there is a host of fixes, and small improvements for all your favourite applications.

Also included in version 8.03 are the long list of improvements and extra features that were made available in version 8.02. These included:

• Experience for yourself some of the huge advances we have made to the Virtual Focus.  Your Virtual Focus position will be remembered even when the browser window is covered up or minimized.  This means that the Virtual Focus will remember your position when browsing web pages across the multiple tab function in Internet Explorer 7.  It will even remember your position(s) if you are using multiple browser windows when comparing information across several different sites.  This only applies to SuperNova and Hal users.
• The Braille line displays in Word has been further improved.  Now when an area of text within Word is highlighted the Braille line will display this highlighted section.  This only applies to SuperNova and Hal users.
• The installation process has been redesigned to ensure a fluid and quick process of installing the software. 
• The default colour used for highlighting the Virtual Focus and Document Read position has been changed to create a higher contrast for the end user. Why not check out the Virtual Focus screenshot and the Document Read screenshot? This only applies to SuperNova, LunarPlus and Hal users.

How do I Upgrade to Version 8.03?

The upgrade is available as an “Update from Internet” and should automatically download and update (For this automatic update please ensure that your update from Internet option is enabled.  This can be checked or turned on by clicking in Maps, Automatic Update Settings,  then please set the upgrades option to check daily, weekly or monthly and click ok.)
