10th Mar, 2008
Dolphin Computer Access is proud to sponsor Neil Kynaston in raising money for Henshaws Society for Blind People. The charity, who are themselves keen users of Dolphin software, provide support for people with visual impairments throughout the North of England. Neil has set himself the enormous challenge of running all 26 miles of the London Marathon on Sunday 13th April to raise money for the charity.
Neil, a Henshaws Merseyside IT trainer from Old Swan in Liverpool, is looking to raise over £1200, which will help provide practical, caring and imaginative support for blind and visually impaired people in Liverpool, Manchester and across the North West. Neil said: “Henshaws is a tremendous charity and the work it does is invaluable so it was the obvious choice for me to run on their behalf.”
Sally Bowden, Director of Fundraising at Henshaws, says: “We’re delighted that Neil has decided to run on our behalf. As a Henshaws’ employee Neil knows better than most just how important the work we do is and the difference it can make to a blind or visually impaired person. “
