Seasons Greetings from Dolphin Computer Access, Lawrence and Johnson
17th Dec, 2008
Dolphin Computer Access would like to wish all of our customer's best wishes and a happy New Year for 2009.
To mark the season of goodwill, Dolphin is delighted to announce our donation of 50 Sightsavers Dolphin Pens to Sightsavers International for use in Kenya.
The Sightsavers Dolphin Pen is a lightweight USB pen drive with built in screen magnifier and screen reader technology and is uniquely available to benefit visually impaired computer users in some of the world's poorest communities.
The Sightsavers Dolphin Pen delivers independence and employment prospects to individuals like 9 year-old Lawrence (pictured on the left) and Johnson Rigungi, a Kenyatta University student. Johnson recently received his Sightsavers Dolphin Pen from David Blunkett MP as part of a DFID funded project run by Sightsavers International.
"The Dolphin Pen has given me my liberty...in the future I hope to be able to teach teenagers how to use this technology." Johnson Rigungi
