Dolphin staff all receive VI awareness training
Celebrating National Learning at Work Day 2010
20th May, 2010
To coincide with 2010's National Learning at Work Day, more than 40 staff at Dolphin Computer Access have this week been undertaking visual impairment awareness training.
Delivered by leading charity and Dolphin friends, Wales Council for the Blind, the training has explained how different eye conditions affect sight loss, as well as how to guide a person with a visual impairment.
Harriet Grant, Training coordinator Dolphin explains more;
"Dolphin has recruited heavily in the last 12 months and we know how crucial this training is to our new staff. I think all the staff, even those that have worked at Dolphin for many years have found the refresher course really useful."
