Composite VAT rate drops
Good news for people registered as disabled!

The UK's HM Revenue & Customs has decreased Dolphin's composite rate of VAT for UK customers from 5.41% to 4.02%.
This composite rate of VAT only affects disabled people purchasing "adapted computer equipment" e.g. a PC and SuperNova or a laptop and Guide. This composite rate of VAT only applies to those registered blind or partially sighted, or assessed as being dyslexic and is not available to organisations.
Total VAT exemption continues to be available for people registered as disabled purchasing "specialist computer software" e.g. SuperNova or Guide only.
