Education made easier for Dutch children with print difficulties

For many people learning is easy, for others it can be a challenge. With many children finding it difficult to read and write, finding a solution that makes the learning process easier must be a priority for all schools. Dolphin Tutor is part of a range of applications that aid learning for students with dyslexia, as well as other reading difficulties and print impairments.
Simple to use
Dolphin Tutor makes reading and writing easier and has been designed to allow users to choose a way to read and write that suits them best. Students can write, read, view and check text, making it the perfect solution for people who have difficulty reading, writing and spelling.
By adding a simple, easy to read toolbar to your common Microsoft™ applications, such as Word®, Excel® and Internet Explorer®, Dolphin Tutor will read back text from your PC screen. It also makes all text more visible, as well as including many text checking tools to help you create accurate work.
Unique and Innovative
Dolphin Tutor produces high quality speech output and much more. It will read the text from any part of a Microsoft™ Word® document. As the words are read out aloud, the corresponding text is highlighted, forming a cognitive link between the written word and the spoken word. Individual letters, words and sentences can also be read back as you type. You are also able to save all of the on-screen text as an audio file, to play back on your PC or portable audio players later, or even email to colleagues and teachers.
