Chapter 1: Overview
Skype is a popular voice over IP and instant messaging application. As well as enabling free internet voice calls from computer to computer, Skype also allows you to purchase credit, which you can use to call landline and mobile telephones.
SuperNova provides access to most features and functionality of Skype including menus, dialog boxes and contact lists. For best results we recommend you run SuperNova Version 13.03 or later.
Note: There are several areas where text in Skype's dialog's is written to the screen as a graphic. It is not currently possible to detect the content of these messages. This includes the dialog which appears when signing-in fails, and the dialog which appears when a search for user returns no results. The titles of these dialogs and their controls are read, so it is apparent when they have appeared, and what options are available to proceed. However you may find success in reading these messages by turning on the Dolphin Cursor and reading them using the Arrow Keys.
