Live Messenger is a communication program that lets you see when your friends are online and exchange instant messages with them. Live Messenger is free. SuperNova works well with this application and includes some custom hot keys to help you work in this application.
Note: Microsoft is planning to retire Windows Live Messenger and replace it with Skype.
