SaySo FAQ

Can I use SaySo with a keyboard?

SaySo is designed with mouse users in mind. However, SaySo's toolbar can also be accessed using the computer keyboard. To access SaySo's toolbar using the keyboard, press WINDOWS + Y, and then use the arrow keys to move through the different buttons.

Although the toolbar is keyboard accessible, certain features of SaySo do require use of the mouse. These include:

  • Docking the toolbar: requires the mouse to drag the toolbar to the edge of the screen
  • Read sentence under mouse: requires the mouse to hover over text
  • Check dialog: within SaySo's Check dialog, the misspelt word and definitions for suggested words are currently not accessible using the keyboard alone, but are accessible to screen reader users via the Dolphin Cursor
  • Soundalikes: after selecting Soundalikes, the mouse is required to click on a highlighted word to check for alternatives
