What's New in this version of EasyProducer?

New in version 2.04 (released: 13/02/2012)

Improvements to EasyProducer v2.04 enable users to convert documents from and save DTBs to network folders more effectively. Specific improvements include:

 

Fixes for bespoke network setups
Customers reported that whilst using EasyProducer on certain network setups, Microsoft Word could fail to save their document. Version 2.04 now includes fixes for these network setups to ensure that Microsoft Word will save the document ready for EasyProducer to create a DTB.

 

Save beyond folders which requiring special permission rights
To ensure network security, some folders on networks are password protected. Previously, these protected folders have stopped EasyProducer saving DTBs. However, EasyProducer v2.04 now includes the ability to save DTBs past these protected folder locations.

 

Support for UNC folders
With EasyProducer v2.04, users can now select documents from, and save their DTBs to their central network drives using UNC paths.

UNC (Unified Naming Convention) refers to central network location paths which start with a "\\".

EasyProducer's added support for UNC paths ensures that users can integrate EasyProducer files into their existing network of documents more effectively than ever.
