To open bookshelf, simply click the bookshelf button from SaySo's toolbar.

Bookshelf has a built in eReader which can open eBooks in DAISY, unprotected ePub, html and text format, as well as opening podcasts, radio stations.

To open content in bookshelf reader simply click the play button to the right of the file you wish to open.

When you open a radio station or a podcast, the program will immediately begin playing. You can pause the podcast, or stop listening to the radio station by clicking the play button at the top of the Reader tab. The resume playing simply click the play button again.

When you open text based documents such as DAISY talking books and ePub books, Bookshelf uses all the same colour, highlighting and voice settings as you have already applied in SaySo.

To change the voice and the speed of the voice in bookshelf, simply click the voice settings button at the top of the reader window.

You can adjust the speed by moving slider, and select a different voice by clicking the drop down button, and selecting a voice from the list

You can also make the text in Bookshelf reader larger or smaller clicking the magnification buttons at the top right of the reader window.
