Hello and welcome to the Dolphin video tutorials.

In this tutorial I am going to be demonstrating how to set up SuperNova Access Suite to read text under the mouse pointer.

SuperNova has the ability to announce any text that is under the mouse pointer.

By default this option is not turned on, so the first time you use it you will have to change some settings in order for it to work.

To turn this feature on go to the speech menu in the SuperNova control panel and then into general announcements. In this window, check the check box that says ‘announce text under mouse pointer’, and choose ‘apply’.

Now when you hover your mouse pointer over some text, SuperNova will announce it as demonstrated here in Microsoft Word 2007.

For more information on SuperNova’s reading functions go to the SuperNova help system that can be accessed with CAPS LOCK + F1.
