Zena: I tend to go onto the local news website to see what's been happening during the day.

Aj: They are available in newspapers and different formats, but they are less accessible for me.

Zena: The Internet is there, and it can give me all the news and it's a lot more up to date.

Colin: You don't want to just be sat there, wondering what your mates are on about.

David: There's something happening in the world, and it'll be there on the Internet with five or ten minutes.

SuperNova: Yahoo news, More, Government link, Parachuting with US Armies link,

Aj: You get different people's opinions. You get people's comments on it, people you haven't met before. You can engage with them.

SuperNova: Leave a comment, edit, That's really interesting.

Catherine: Other colleagues might be looking at the physical newspaper and I know that I can go and look at that sort of thing online.

James: Yes, I do know about the Dolphin Launchpad!

Colin: I get all my RSS feeds on there. It brings up all the news stories of that day and I can update every 5 minutes or every minute.

Catherine: If I catch something that I am actually interested in then perhaps I can read the whole story on their website.

SuperNova: Dolphin Launchpad, RSS feeds, BBC News, Choose a news headline, UK Olympic. Windows Internet Explorer. London Olympics: Coe praises.

Aj: You know I want it instant, and sometimes you might say you have all day, but sometimes you are at work and you want to quickly check something, I think speed is really important.
